Song Info:"Here I Am" is a song by Canadian singer Bryan Adams. The song was written and recorded in 2002 for the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and was both released on the soundtrack and as a single. The single reached #1 in Taiwan, Azerbaijan and Portugal. It also reached #5 in the U.K. which was a big achievement considering it did not receive any airplay.
The song won a ASCAP Award and was nominated for Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
The song was used in the Swedish TV-show Melodifestivalen 2009, where it was sung by the comedian Petra Mede and singer Martin Stenmarck. It was performed with a lyrics in swedish, and was the opening of the arrangement. The title was "En ny tid" (A New Age).
