Taylor Swift - White Horse

Song Info:

"White Horse" is a song written by American country singer Taylor Swift and co-written by Liz Rose. It is the second official single released from her album Fearless. It is the seventh official single release of her career. This song is featured in the fifth season premiere of Grey's Anatomy, "Dream a Little Dream of Me".^[2] "White Horse" became the first video ever to debut at #1 on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown.

"White Horse" was a critical and commercial success, and won two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

This was her last video to date to be directed by Trey Fanjoy. As the video begins, Swift is leaning against the wall and crying. In a flashback, her boyfriend (played by actor Stephen Colletti) has called her, attempting to make amends and begging for a second chance, but she does not respond. The video then presents the couple in a happy teen-aged relationship.^[9]

Later, Swift tells a friend (played by actress Teah Spears) how wonderful this boy is and that he is the best thing to have happened to her. Her friend does not share the same enthusiasm, explaining "there's something you should know about him." The explanation was that the young man has been in another relationship for years. Swift then walks to her boyfriend's house to see his girlfriend there; she leaves, horrified while he tries to explain and apologize. In the end, the boy asks for another chance. Showing he left his other girlfriend. After a quick-zoom montage of the couple's relationship, Swift admits that she still loves him, but denies his request; after hanging up before he can argue, she uncontrollably breaks down.^[9]

Taylor Swift - Mine

Song Info:

"Mine" is a song by American country pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift from her third studio album, Speak Now. The song was released on August 4, 2010, as the lead single from the album. The song was two weeks ahead of the planned August 16 release, due to its online leak. The song was written solely by Taylor Swift, and was produced by Nathan Chapman, alongside Swift as a co-producer.

The music video was shot in Kennebunkport^[1][14] as well as on Ram Island, Cape Elizabeth and features Swift getting married to a groom played by British actor Toby Hemingway.^[15] The director, Roman White, posted a blog on August 15, 2010 stating that the video was completed and that it was "insanely great." He went on to say that "you never really know what a piece is going to look like in the end, but when we were shooting this video everything was just perfect and you just had a feeling that it was all going to fall in to place perfectly . . . as it did."^[16]

The video premiered August 27, 2010 on CMT as part of a live half-hour special event that discussed the making of the video.^[17]

On August 20, a 30 second sneak peek of the video was released prior to the premiere on August 27 on CMT.^[18]

Photographs of many of the scenes, including the wedding scene, were leaked onto the internet prior to the video's release.

The video begins with Swift entering a café and noticing a couple arguing. It is quickly shown that when she was a little girl, her father's attitude toward her mother quickly ruined the relationship, leaving Taylor on the sidelines watching everything dissolve. Soon, she meets a waiter at the café and they become instantly infatuated with each other. A few years later, he soon proposes to Taylor while they're on a date and she cheerfully accepts, forgetting her philophobic ways. One night, after her fiancé is stressed from his life, he manages to blame Swift, just like her father did to his wife. She instantly breaks down and runs into the street crying and feeling like her love interest will leave her. He follows her and apologizes. The last scenes show Swift eventually getting married and having two boys.

Swift chose her longtime friend and look-alike Jaclyn Jarrett (the daughter of professional wrestler Jeff Jarrett) to play the younger version of herself in the video.^[19] Jaclyn's sisters Joslyn and Jeryn as well as Kyra Angle (daughter of professional wrestler Kurt Angle) also appear.

As of December 2010 the video has received over 25 million views on YouTube.

Taylor Swift - Fearless

Song Info:

"Fearless" is a country pop song performed by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The song was co-written by Swift in collaboration with Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsey and produced by Nathan Chapman and Swift. "Fearless" was released on January 4, 2010 by Big Machine Records as the fifth and final single from Swift's second studio album, of the same name, Fearless. Swift composed the song while traveling on tour to promote her eponymous debut album, Taylor Swift (2006). She wrote "Fearless" in regards to the fearlessness of falling in love and eventually titled her second studio album after the song. Musically, it contains qualities commonly found in pop rock music and, lyrically, is about a perfect first date.

"Fearless" generally pleased contemporary critics, many who complimented it for appealing to different age groups; others disagreed. In the United States, "Fearless" peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), becoming the first single released after being certified gold by the RIAA. "Fearless" also entered charts in Canada and Spain. Swift performed the song in various venues, some of which were included on the Fearless Tour (2009–10). Footage from the Fearless Tour performances were used to comprise a music video for "Fearless", directed by Todd Cassetty. The video features both footage of the tour itself and behind-the-scenes.

Boyzone - Love Is A Hurricane

Song Info:

"Love is a Hurricane" is a song performed by Irish group Boyzone. It was the second single to be released from their fourth studio album, Brother, on 17 May 2010.^[2] It will be the first single without bandmate Stephen Gately, who died last year.

This single is the lowest charting Boyzone single in Ireland or the UK due to bad press on the allegations of Ronan Keating having an affair on his wife which affected sales. However, the song was a massive airplay hit, and CD sales of the album went up while the Love is a Hurricane was released at the same time which indicates that people preferred to buy the album then just the single.

After debuting the track on their ITV1 show Boyzone: A Tribute To Stephen Gately, the reaction from fans made the choice of the second single an easy decision. An upbeat, feel good, infectious pop anthem; Love Is A Hurricane was written by New Radicals front man, Gregg Alexander who has previously written for Ronan’s solo albums as well as other artists.^[3]
