"A Little Respect" is a song written and recorded by synthpop duo Erasure, released in September 1988 as their tenth single. It was issued as the third European (and second American) single from their album The Innocents.

Known as one of their signature tunes, "A Little Respect" continued Erasure's success on the UK singles chart, where it hit number four to become the band's fifth Top 10 single. It was also Erasure's second consecutive Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, where it climbed to number 14, and hit number two on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs chart. In the U.S. the remixes were made by Justin Strauss.

Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough

"Just Can't Get Enough" is the third UK single by Depeche Mode. It was originally released in the UK in September 1981. It was recorded during the summer of that year, and was the band's first single to be released in the United States, on February 18, 1982.

The song, a riff-driven Synthpop piece, was the final single to be written by founder member Vince Clarke, who would leave the band in December 1981. The song was included on the band's first album, Speak and Spell, which was released a month after the single.

The single version of "Just Can't Get Enough" is the same version that appears on the UK version of Speak and Spell. The 12" single featured a "Schizo Mix", which is an extended version with a different intro and an ambient tune popping up after the choruses. This version appears on the US version of Speak and Spell, the UK rerelease of Speak and Spell, the rerelease of The Singles (81-85) and Remixes 81 - 04.

New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle

"Bizarre Love Triangle" is a single released in 1986 by the English rock band New Order. A version is included on their album Brotherhood.

Though it is one of the group's best known singles, it failed to make the Top 40 in either the United Kingdom or the United States. In the band's native England, "Bizarre Love Triangle" only reached No. 56.^[1] In the States, the song failed to chart in its original 1986 release. However, a new mix included on the The Best of New Order was released in 1994 and finally made a brief appearance on Billboard singles chart in the 1995 as a minor hit. The one country where it was a sizable chart hit was Australia, where it reached No. 5, initiating a string of five consecutive Top 20 hits.^{[citation needed]}

In 2004 the song was ranked number 201 in Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

Gary Numan - Cars

"Cars" is a 1979 song by UK artist Gary Numan, and was released as a single from the album The Pleasure Principle. It reached the top of the charts in several countries, and today is considered a New Wave staple. In the UK charts, it reached number 1 in 1979, and in 1980 hit number 1 in Canada two weeks running on the RPM national singles chart^[1][2] and rose to number 9 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It debuted on the American Top 40 on 29 March 1980, and spent a total of 17 weeks in the AT40. "Cars" was released under the 'Atco' label, with the catalog number of 7211.

The song was the first release credited solely to Gary Numan after he dropped the band name Tubeway Army, with which he had released four singles and two LPs, including the number one UK hit "Are 'Friends' Electric?", and its parent album, Replicas. Musically, the new song was somewhat lighter and more pop-oriented than its predecessors, Numan later conceding that he had chart success in mind: "This was the first time I had written a song with the intention of 'maybe it could be a hit single'; I was writing this before "Are 'Friends' Electric?" happened".

Music Video Info:

The music video featured Numan's then-current backing band, including Billy Currie from the band Ultravox, though he had not actually played on the recording of "Cars". Towards the end of the video, a multitude of Gary Numans are depicted "driving" (in a standing position, holding an imaginary steering wheel) along a Polymoog keyboard.
