Song Info:"Take Over Control" is a song by Dutch producer and DJ Afrojack, featuring vocals from Dutch singer Eva Simons. The song was written by Afrojack, Eva and Ingrid Simons, and Mike Hamilton. It was released in the Netherlands on August 12, 2010. The song reached number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart in its November 20, 2010 issue.
The music video, directed by Alex Herron, was shot on September 14, 2010 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.[1] The video premiered on YouTube on October 12, 2010 through the Spinnin' Records account, and later shown to the UK public on October 20, 2010 through the Data Records account.[2] [3]
The video starts with Wall riding a car in a desert-setting. In the video, Simons is depicted as a robotical dancer in a typical American schoolbus, accompanied by four background (robot) dancers. They step out of the bus and start performing a dance routine in a desert-like field with broken airplanes in the background. The girls take control of the field, to later fall out of energy, whereafter Afrojack arrives and "plugs them in", so they can continue to perform.
