Song Info:"Fireworks" is a song by the Swedish pop duo Roxette. Released in 1994, it was the third single from their album Crash! Boom! Bang!. It achieved moderate success in various European countries, and peaked at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart.
Strangely the single was omitted from the career retrospective The RoxBox which included every international single released by Roxette up to 2006, it has also been left off other hits compilations, leading to speculation that Roxette do not like the song.
In an interview with The Daily Roxette website in 2009, Per Gessle was asked if he liked the song, he answered "I guess it just wasn't big enough" and offered no other explanation for the songs lack of recognition, leaving the original question unanswered as to whether he likes Fireworks or not.
Music Video Info:The music video is mainly based in London, featuring several well known places and landmarks as well as signage from the London Underground. Parts of the video are also set on a beach with fire surrounding the duo as the song reaches it's climax.
