The video starts with Wall riding a car in a desert-setting. In the video, Simons is depicted as a robotical dancer in a typical American schoolbus, accompanied by four background (robot) dancers. They step out of the bus and start performing a dance routine in a desert-like field with broken airplanes in the background. The girls take control of the field, to later fall out of energy, whereafter Afrojack arrives and "plugs them in", so they can continue to perform.

"Fearless" was released on January 4, 2010 by Big Machine Records as the fifth and final single from Swift's second studio album, of the same name, Fearless. Swift composed the song while traveling on tour to promote her eponymous debut album, Taylor Swift (2006). She wrote "Fearless" in regards to the fearlessness of falling in love and eventually titled her second studio album after the song.
